The Houston Area HIV Services Ryan White Planning Council allocated money in FY (fiscal year) 1998 to fund the creation of a Planning Council website in order to expand the Council’s strategies for providing and receiving public information. The website is maintained and updated by the Council’s Office of Support Staff at the direction of the Council.

The goals for this website are to:

• Provide information about the Houston Council and its responsibilities and relationships with other entities so that members of the public will be better informed about what the Council does;

• Provide capacity building information so that members of the public will be better informed on why they should participate and how they may participate in the processes;

• Provide information about the Houston Council’s Activities in a timely manner so that members of the public will be better informed about when and where they may participate, and;

• Provide information and Links to other Related Resources
